Skills, Engagement, & Independence
Deescalating Behavior
Strategies for deescalating behaviors may be different for each individual and specific situations.
Learning new skills is lifelong. All individuals learn at different rates and in different ways. While a person may not be able to complete an entire task, they may still learn parts of it. For example they may not be able to complete an entire toothbrushing sequence, but may learn to put the toothpaste on their brush and turn on the water. This is a space to learn about the best methods of instruction for your child.
